Ti
I'm about to buy my first TI. and I'm getting a 7/8 SS. The only thing I'm still wondering about is the handles. The Red stamina is a lot cheaper than some of the others. O was wondering if anyone has that one and likes it. Is it smooth? because it doens't look smooth.

I have both TI Stamina and Horn handles. I much prefer the looks of the Horn, especially the Blond Horn.
The Stamina is not really what I would consider rough, but not as smooth as the Horn either.
Good Luck.

thanks, it'll be Horn or Olivewood then I think.

I have the 7/8 Red Stamina. It rocks.
I'm a fan of dark woods, so it was an automatic decision for me. They look so rich and antique-like, even when they're brand new.

I think the Red Stamina is a very nice material and one worthy of their blades. Now if they could just figure out how to consistently pin them properly, theyd' be all set.

Not a fan of the Stamina either. It is not as natural looking as the Olivewood, etc.... My favorites are the horn handles, light or dark and I have a really nice Palmwood Egyptian.
While I do have several with the Stamina which I bought simply because that's the only wood available on the Frame Back and Leaf and Vine models I notice it never fits well at the end. The white insert does not sem to bond well with the wood so there is always an open seam there.

well, I ordered the stamina afterall. If simply because of the price difference. Maybe further on in the future I'll save up again and get another one. So I'll be getting a 7/8 Sheffield Red Stamina Thiers issard pretty soon and I'm really excited about it.

I like the Stamina. No, I don't own one...Tony has the leaf and vine that I want!
