Yes, definately missed the reference, then. :) I do like my token cufflinks, though! Though some research reveals that (I guess?) the T has named their new passes after the Song's hero. Or somebody like him.

It must be old if the subway was only ten cents. I vaguely remember the fare being seventy-five cents on the NYC subway. I think they made it a dollar even in 1986 or so. More clicking around (slow day at work) reveals that in NYC, the fare was $0.10 from 1947 to 1953.
