Yes, it's in the tax law. Anything purchased in the quest to find the BBS shave is tax deductible. All creams, soaps, blades, even restorations are deductible. Receipts for purchases must be maintained. Any purchases made to achieve positive results on the HHT are not deductible however.
Hones, strops and sharp "knives" are tools of my trade, therefore are a business expense. ;)
Im pretty cheap on the soaps, ect...
And when you sell your blades,Hones etc in the quest for mo betta stuff, the loss that you ALWAYS take is 100% tax deductable.
Think of it this way, you have a physiological disorder making you buy this stuff and if you don't you have terrible symptoms so just have an M.D write you a prescription for shaving gear.
I really wish it was deductable :( Taxes would be so much easier to do and would be getting more back as well
My business sure stinks. I haven't sold a single thing in over three years, but I keep on making business purchases. Good thing the government lets me write off my loss or I'd really be in trouble
You should consider changing business - no one uses penis pumps any more, it's all drugs now.
