SRP Calendar..Perpetual

Hi All,

Mrcleanhead bought this up but there weren't many takers. Getting a calendar together in general is all about timing, release date etc..etc..

How about a perpetual calendar. This is a calendar that has months and dates but no days so it can be used over and over again.

It is ideal for remembering birthdays, events, anniversaries etc plus you don't biff it out with the junk after New Years.

Often though keen guys have gone out on a limb, done this sorta thing and lost money so the way for it to work is this:-

Find out about volume qty price breaks.
Advertise what pics and content etc.
Members commit to pay in advance when we've got numbers and we know the price.
Members pay in advance and calendars are ordered.
If you fail to pay up..you have until sunrise..or I cut your ba$ls off. Blame that on the Romans. :roflmao

Any suggestions, better ideas etc most welcome.

Also don't forget to vote so we can either carry on investigating or drop it in the "too hard bin".

I just don't have much of a use for a paper calendar. However, I have been thinking of using nice razor pics as wallpaper on my comp.

I think I would need something with the months and days in there. Im to lazy to write the months (ya I know...shush), and I can never remember which months have 30 days or 31, so I would hate to be late for my appointment on November 31st :w

However this idea does make deadlines easier :)

Ohhh....that could work...but Gary, let me ask you this...if we didnt have a time constraint (it is the beginning of november after all). Would you still prefer something not year specific? The way I see it, we would all want fresh razor porn after a year, so they would only be good for twelve months anyway. So for say 2008 if we started early...would a regular calendar be your preference, or no?

It would be good for current members but as guys join all the time you'd have to wait nearly a year maybe for the next one.

We could get an extra 10 or so for sale anytime..dunno ?.

Then again I could work on it for 2008 which would give us all enough time to pick the pics, edit the editorial and blab away so that the whole thing somehow hangs together in an ethral sort of way.
We mustn't vote on what pics..it's got to be a surprise otherwise by the time you get the calendar you would be sick of it. This will have to be managed somehow.
Lynn must have a say as it will be an SRP calendar. We would want at least a juicy pic of his anyway plus some words of wisdom etc....
Maybe a few volunteers and what you see is what you get...

No Gary, that actually makes a lot of sense. I didnt think about the new guys. When you mentioned calendars (and I appologize in advance if I open up a can of worms). I thought...hmm we could design a 2008 calendar WELL in advance...have some contests for razor porn photos...take orders over a number of months...and then sue the proceeds to actually benefit the website...Im sure all of this stuff costs money....


However, you do make a very good point about the new guys having to wait a full year for a calendar. At any rate, which ever way you go, since the company you will be dealing with will most likely be located in, or shipping most of the orders to the states, let me know if you need any help.

I don't use paper calendars....EVER. I've tred to use paper agenda's just like calendars and after about a month I just give up it seems. So although it's a nice idea I'd pass on it.

I actually wouldn't trash the idea, just wouldn't use it myself. However it looks like it generated SOME interest.

Somewhere in the past someone... my dentist, I think, distributed a perpetual calendar with a replacable picture set... so each year he sent out new pictures which attached to the reusable calendar. the pics had a month and year on them. dunno if such things are still available. It was basically a cardboard standup thingy... maybe 3wx5h -- it occupied the corner of my desk at one time.
