    Default Wisconsin Fall Meeting

    Wisconsin Meeting

    September 28, 29 30

We will have a meet at my place on these dates. The theme is STROPS. Honing, restoring, grinding and scales will be done.

I certainly have some examples of what not to do. I have a supply of Neats Foot oil.

This is an excellent opportunity for gaining knowledge about our hobby. Quite a few Mentors will be there to advise and assist. If you are new to the hobby these meetings are great. Bring your projects and get a ton of help!

I live in Caledonia just outside of Racine. 25 miles from the Illinois - Wisconsin border and 20 miles south of Milwaukee.

PM me if you can attend or have any questions.

I will send direction and such in PMs.

    Dave

I have to say that I was there at Dave and Bonnies last year and this Meetup is a Must!

    Don't Miss It!!

Once again, I will plan on traveling from Massachusetts to be there.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing all my old friends, and to meeting some new ones.

I have enjoyed two meets at Dave and Bonnie's place. They are hosts of the finest grade.

The actual experience and working knowledge of the folks meeting there conveys some of the best available
advice and examples. Always a good learning experience. I look forward to enjoying it again.

    Thanks Dave!

I always look forward to these meetups. Great friendships, the hosts are of the highest quality and so courteous and caring. My wife has had many health problems and money is tight. So is the plans Friday evening through Lunch on Sunday? Not sure how I will swing where I will stay yet. I need to put in to have that Saturday off from work.

Strops, bring different types or are we making strops or what? I know I have many questions about stropping and such.

Let’s make this another great event. You know I always bring some breakfast goodies too. I need to put aside some funds for a bottle of scotch or bourbon to bring with.

Thanks Dave & Bonnie for having us again.
I am very appreciative of all the knowledge and sharing each and everyone has provided me with. Look forward to future endeavors with many of you.

I was unable to make the meet last year. I live northwest of Chicago, so Dave's place is only a 1 1/2 hour drive. I hope to make it this year.

I feel like I have gotten to know many of you through your posts since I joined the forum. I have learned a lot from your posts and hope my posts have been a help to others. Meeting face to face would be awesome.
