Berlin is always worth a visit. But about the date: working at a university has many advantages, lots of spare time early September however isn't one. Start of the academic year will in all probability prevent my attendance at the UK Razorcon; I'd hate to see it preclude this meeting too. If it remains September 12th, I'd certainly try to come, but either earlier (I can see Bart's point about the cons of that though) or later would suit me better.
