David, Thank You for setting this up, and "virtually" inviting us into your home, the tech side of it was easy enough for even me to use...
It was great putting faces and voices to Screen Names... looked like you guys were having a good time :tu

Guys,
Thanks for joining today. We've also got some HD video that I shot of Kelly (nun2sharp) working on the hones that we'll get on YouTube before long.
Cheers.
Thanks for doing this, I enjoyed watching and listening for the time I could :) Looks like you guys had a great time
Me 2 !!!
It was great to be allowed into your meet and not only see what was going on and get some of the instuctional parts but more then anything we were included! Asking a question about the hones or technique being used we got a direct answer as if we were right there.
Thank you very very much for going the extra mile and allowing us in. Your hospitallity is very much appreciated.
Great experience. I think it would be great if you could write up a post on how you setup everything so other groups in the future could do the same.

Earthdawn,
Will do. I'll see if I can write up a little how-to on the ReelPortal setup (it's very simple) and perhaps make it a sticky in the meeting & get together's forum.
Thanks for participating and for putting up with a couple of the technical glitches we had. If I had it to do over again, we would have set up a proper microphone instead of using the one built into my laptop. We also encountered some freeze issues when trying to broadcast via my tablet, but overall I thought it went well.
Again, much thanks for you, and everyone else's, participation.
I just came across this thread and it sounds really cool. When you get a mini-how-to put together please let me know. I would like to use it for our upcoming Minnesota Razor Meet.
Thanks a bunch, :D
I just downloaded and installed the apps
So what is required is
1. Internet connection
2. computers on each end with microphone
3. webcam on the broadcasting end or both
