Did the Doo actually happen? hard to imagine without a visual:)
Thanks guys...another reason for me to be miserable  Just kidding. I'm really glad to hear that every one had an amazing time. I'm quite proud of the group of enthusiasts here in the PNW and how giving a group we have. I'll have a difficult time waiting for the Spokane meet to roll around so I can see everyone again.

Great times..
But first let me applogize for taking so long to post, we had a bear go through Sunday night so I came home to quite a mess, so I spent most of yesterday cleaning up and repairing the damage...
First a huge Thank You !!! to Wanda and Gerrit for being awesome, in their generosity of opening their home and treating us all as family..
Some standout moments...
Learning some of Gerrit's secrets to turning and making brushes, that was worth the trip in itself
Getting to hone on quite a few stones I had not used before, still, haven't had a chance to shave the Wacker, maybe tonight
The huge turkey legs that Wanda made that she so fondly named "Caveman Pops" MMmmmmmm Goood
Trying out some Polish beer's that Marius/Proximus26 brought to the meet, and the nicely spiced "Soft Beer" that Gerrit made for the meet..
Listening to Mike Blue talk about metal and heat treating and tempering was enlightening
Always fun to sit down and do some honing and talk about honing with hands on
These meets all have one thing in common, they never seem to last long enough, we sat and talked shaving for hours honed dozens of razors made at least 5 brushes worked soaps and lathers. Yet still at 5:00 on Sunday we could have gone on and on :)
To anyone reading this, I cannot say it strongly enough, "If there is a meet that you can make, do so whether you have something to learn or something to teach these are stuffed packed with hands on info"...
Here are some of the photos/videos that Mariusz and Double N took at the meet.

I wish we had the time to make a brush making video, but there wasn't enough time. There never seems to be. I have decided to make a full brush handle tutorial later this summer when I have a little more time. I will take it from wood to brush including lathe work, sanding, finishing and knot setting. I have also arranged it with Double 'N' for him to help record my process, then I will have him make a brush using my methods. He has turned a brush under my watch before, but it has been a while. This should give a couple of perspectives on brush making.

This table contained all of the samples from MamaBear, Queen Charlotte, Als Shaving, as well as a few from my personal collection. There is also a door prize from MamaBear, Phil Dobson, and Mike Blue.
Thanks for all of the support everyone.

We don't have any pics of Mariusz as he was behind the camera and I might not be fed if I post some pics of my wife.
The second video should be active any minute and I will post a video of Glen honing later (if it ever uploads). I figure everyone has seen plenty of those anyway... :D
If anyone has any questions or requests please ask. There are plenty more pics in my photobucket account.
If Glen wishes to incorporate the videos so they aren't just links it would be appreciated. I can be technologically inept at times.
