I didn't know him personally but his knowledge about razors was outstanding. I always liked to read his posts. May he rest in peace.
This saddens me deeply.
A character, friend and mentor has passed.
May he rest in peace.
My thoughts goes to his nearest.
Sincere condolences to the families grieving the immeasurable loss they are suffering. In such moments the words would be superfluous … I am with my mind and soul along with those who were privileged to know them. RIP.
Add my condolences to the list. There are few words to say about his passing. His absence will leave a serious hole in the knowledge base. I would have liked to know all that he forgot about razors...
Condolences to his family.
It is indeed a great loss for all of us.
His many contributions are everywhere on this site but here's a brief interview Obie did few years ago
Straight Razor Place - Conversation with Neil Miller
RIP Neil, I've learned a lot form you.
Very sad indeed.
He will be missed by many.
What terrible news, what a great spirit, his posts were always full of humour and wit, he was a wealth of knowledge and always a great friend to the community here, what utterly tragic news.
My condolences to his family and may he have the best shave den, stocked with everything he could want, in his great mansion in the sky. Rest in Peace Neil.

Terribly sad news. Many condolences to Neil's family and friends. And a very, very big thank you to Neil for all that he shared with us. He will be sorely missed.
A truly sad day. Neil was a great guy, no one quite like him. In correspondence with him, I got to know him quite well.
He had a wealth of practical knowledge and so many crazy stories to relate. He had a way of putting you in his shoes as he told of his escapades and adventures.
His mind was amazing as was his wealth of historical and scientific smarts. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him and even by those who did not.
His health was bad for a very long time, filled with pain and frustration. I am grateful that his suffering has ceased.
The mold was broken as God made Neil. Rest Easy, My Friend.
Final Regards,
Tom
RIP Mr. Miller
It was a privilege to have all too briefly known Neil if only through his knowledgeable posts on SRP. I'll think of him every time I use the strop he made for me. Bless him, may he RIP. My sincerest condolences to his family for their loss.

While the straight razor community has lost a friend his family has lost far more.
He left a legacy here with his knowledge, expertize, wit and sometimes 'mischief' he was always more than willing to help others with no regard of any type of pay back.
He gave from his heart.
He was a Great Guy and he will be missed by so many. Myself included.
Were that I had been Methuselah able to give him some of my excess years.
