Illinois 8449 strop

Great beginners strop or for collecting. If you are a beginner why ruin an expensive strop while learning. Vintage Illinois Razor Strop Co. Used condition but still life left in it.. Six nicks that have been sanded smooth and one cut secured with super glue from back side. Strop is approximately 24 inches by 2 ½ inches wide.leather cleaned with saddle soap and treated with neetsfoot oil. At top “GENUINE HORSE HIDE” in circle with Horse Head in center. At bottom “ILLINOIS - RAZOR STROP CO. - CHICAGE - 8449 in oval Laurel wreath. Second Strop has texture pattern like linen. Back Strop to sharpen front Strop to finish.
