Is the Zulu Grey considered a finishing hone along the lines of a thuringian? Thanks.

Different stones with different feels. I found using the Zulu under water worked very well with putting a finished edge on my razors. The Thuringian a lot of people use slurry. When using my Escher, I use it under running water, no slurry and get a very smooth shaving edge, not a deadly sharp edge. The Zulu may give a slightly sharper edge but shaves smooth.
