I have tried straight razor shaving and i was not successful (skin sensitivity).
I bought these 3 SuperSones that i almost did not use. Have not used in years. Will pay for shipping and insurance.

Those stones are a good price, I might even be interested myself (Ontario) but it would be a terrible shame to give up on straight shaving.
Sensitive skin is not a problem with straight shaving, it's technique or more likely that your razors weren't shave ready, especially if you tried to hone them yourself.
I know someone with lot's more experience than me will post soon.
When I first started I dreaded shaving and found it terrifying but now I love it and wouldn't shave any other way.
I really think you should try again but use a razor that was honed by someone who knows what they're doing and let some of the guys here take you by the hand and help you.
I promise you will really enjoy straight shaving when you get the hang of it and there are plenty of shaving soaps especially made for sensitive skin.
thanks but i have already made my mind years ago. I bought a top of the line safety razor and still have the same issue with bleeding. I went back to electric razors. My dermatologist said i had a sensitive skin. At 65, i do not believe i will attempt another experience.
I am getting rid of my gear since it is taking space.
Thats a shame, are they Naniwa Superstones?
They sure look like Naniwas. That is an excellent price.
It is unfortunate that you feel you have to leave our shaving fraternity.
Good luck.
Thanks David.
