I would say a barber's hone, but I cannot explain why the two sides are not of an even width along the length. The joint looks more like a natural combo. I'm curious what the gurus will tell.
Looks a lot like the double duck hone with the sticker on the side in the thread below although the stamp is a different shape.

Anyway, I would say there is no doubt it is synthetic although it's weird with the un even join. Possibly too due with the process they used to make it..
yes it is very similar to the dd hone, same manufacturer different brand?
It's a barber hone, 2 sided, the two sides aren't even because of the coating, it's not a natural combo, many different companies used a label like the one on the sides.
A close up of the label impression would help.
