Forgot to say that my mood significantly improved but now I am getting scared as to flatten and lap this lot will be decent chore.
A single day? You'd better recover soon, before your house becomes too small!
Nice hunting, will you post more pics and descriptions?
Left top corner up to long black one Thuris and 1 Escher. Tben the black is probably DT. Next six LIs. Then top right CFs.
Left bottom row. 7 Belgians. Possible JGES coti. Labeled Washita. 2 Dalmore yellow (one of them Salmens). 2 Old Turkeys.
holy crap man!! Are you serious, a single day??? Thats redonkulous!!!!!
Ive spent months looking for hones and found 2 small Cotis. Thats amazing you found so many in one day. Looks like some very nice stones too. Congratulations!
It is like with harvesting mushrooms. You go to woods whole season and nothing and then you go on one day and you are back in an hour because your basket was not big enough.
Nice score, 37 stones in one day is a nice shoot, congrats.
Hero of the day, like D.Bowie sing in his famous song.
To be completely honest because of HAD I have no time for quality honing, skills I had before are gone and I am starting to learn from scratch.
Not looking for specifics, but where did you find these? Single lot, yard sale, multiple antique stores?
I read your post too fast and did not see "hone". I was expecting to see a big ol 8 pointer when I opened the jpg. Gotta say I was a little disappointed. But that is a lot in one day.
I am member of Trades and Tools Historical Society and sometimes I get tips from other members where to go and look. This one was from single source. I went there yesterday again and there were about half dozen of thin YL, about same of Washitas, small TOS another CF and some possible Hindostans.
