Anybody ever see a white "Apart" hone? The one I see reviewed here obviously isn't white.
APART Barber hone test
If possible, I need a quick answer.

I have heard of one, no idea of quality, sorry.
some of the barber hones were different colors even though they were the same quality. It is believed the the color came from the filler, if memory serves me correct. I have two frictionate hones that are the same except for the color.
Nice. Barber hones are the gateway hone that will take you to full blown HAD. You will have a lot of great company though.
I'm just wondering where it's all going to fit in with what I current have. King 1K, Naniwa 3/8K, 12K, CrOx .3...
Any ideas or encouragement would be helpful.
Thanks, Rez.
The kiddie pool cost me less than $20 for each. I know. Expensive right? guess I needed a learnin'.
I think before the 12k (unnecessary?) and to touch up shaving razors. Might be better than some 12k's. Might not.
Slurry on a barber's hone? Not an issue, IMO.
Simple! A barber's hone was, and still is, intended to maintain an edge between all-out edge restoration/honing.
Many have gotten by with only a strop, or a barber's hone/strop for a lifetime with a good blade, usage, and technique.
A tool for maintenance, but many make fine, fine finishers!
Yes, yes. I understand that, my brother. I thought you may have been making observations as to the potential grit quality of one or all of the stones in relation to my current regimen.
Kind Regards,
Simon
ps-the sign said "Free Candy" so I got in the van.
