Hi,
Has anyone else come across this stone? I want to know the grit size. Feels somewhere between 700 and 1000. I've looked on the Norton website and tried googling it, but no joy
Cheers

Welcome aboard,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Give us a couple of pics of it , the box included,,, if you have it & we will give you our best.
It's supposed to be a 750 grit. Very fast cutter. I use one to sharpen to axes, shovels, and lawn mower blades.
I wouldn't use on a SR, I'm not even sure I would use it on a kitchen knife. It will remove a lot of metal very quickly.
It would probably level a coticule well.
Thanks Hirlau."Long time listener, first time caller", as they say. And thanks criswilson10 for the answer. I'll give it a crack and see how it goes. I have a 700 grit diamond hone I use for chips, so it will be interesting to see how they stack up. Fortunately I shave with an axe!
