Apache Strata

anybody have any expierence with the apache strata american natural stone?

Just got mine yesterday. In the past I've had good success with lapping film, but the edges are fairly harsh. I have a la grise coti that I can get close but only a really good edge twice (the second time just the day before yesterday), and a jnat that I can get good edges but the process is time consuming. I took a just restored vintage american razor (hackett, somebody, and someone), bevel set on DMT. Dilucot on the coti. I was surprised by the coti edge as I have only been successful once with it before. Had a nice shave with it yesterday. The apache strata arrived yesterday afternoon and I did a couple sets of circles then about 50 laps and the hht improved from tinging 4's to nearly silent 4's. This mornings shave was great. The apache added just enough keenness without losing any of the coti smoothness. Only one try so far but I like it a lot so far. My stone is one of the small ones, 5x3 ish. I used a coti finished on Escher edge a few times in the past and this edge reminded me of that. If the success continues my jnat and nagura will be looking for a new home.
