Yes, if the bevel and edge are good, possibly some micro-chipping you could get away with a good 12K like a Super Stone.
A 12K super stone can completely reset a bevel in about 100 laps or so.
But really the do-all stone is the 4/8K Norton, if you are going to paste, the 4/8 is all you need and then finish on .50 CBN. The 4k will easily set all but the major restore bevels and an 8K edge will polish nicely with Chrome Ox and .50 CBN.
You don’t need the 2 and 4um CBN.
Or an even better solution if you want a quick super fine edge is Lapping Film. Very inexpensive, super straight stria and edges, polish on .50 or .125um CBN.
If you are stropping on CBN make a foam core strop for your 2 and 4um don’t waste the nano cloth on anything larger than .50um.
There are many way to skin this cat…or shave them…
