Question: The stone on mine was originally attached with some kind of water-soluble glue (IDK if mucilage, hoof glue or whatever. Just took a sample to test before trying to remove the stone, because I coudn't take the risk to stress and break so thin stone). I re-glued it with water-soluble PVA glue, but now I have a doubt... how can I use this stone with water without messing the glue and/or letting water contacts the wood?
Can I use something oily? Glycerin? FU and use water anyway? Pray for the holy spaguetti?
I was wondering if the idea was to use the stone dry like some barber hones ?
I use mine dry and clean with a damp rag. Been doing it with fine naturals since i started for touch up and adding smoothness.
