Those 16k stones are meant to be pretty quick stones. Treat it like a barber hone and if the razor flags a little give it a couple laps. If done correctly you shouldn't need to touch another stone in a fair while. Good luck and happy honing

Indeed. Less is more on the Glass 16K. Light strokes and start with 5 or 6 laps and test shave. Too many laps and many steels get chipped on the 16K. Great finisher, just take it easy.
