Hi guys, I am searching for an artisan/maker of some hone boxes. They do not have to be fancy but felt lined would be nice. Do we know of anyone?

grab a block of wood chisel away is about it for the odd shaped Naturals
but nice boxes for the cut hones would be a go
keen to see what's out there also
I like boxes to, but could not find someone to make them at a reasonable price. So I made my own and pretty happy with the results. Box with the slurry stones and box with duel colors a yg/b are the ones I made to go with my vintage ones.Attachment 265158
I take better pic in next couple of days as I have not completley finnished the slurry stone box. My yg/b thurri box I really like, tight as a glove. If I put a buisines card on top of the stone it will not completley shut. Al I used was a sharp Japanese chisel,a dremel, and sand paper.
I posted this yesterday in another location. Its what i threw together. Its not hard if you have a few tools in the garage...

A machinist tool chest might be suitable for your needs.
Here's a link to a UK shop similar to Harbour freight that sells one.

Might be a very decent pre made choice.
If you want individual boxes then your best bet is a local carpenter, or grab some tools and wood and make your own.
Another option that I've employed is to purchase some plastic tackle boxes from Wal-Mart then cut out the plastic dividers to hold the stones in place. Not quite as pretty as a wood box, but it gets the job done.
Cigar boxes and humidors are a great option. Humidors have trays and are already dressed up. Cigar boxes can be scored for free from cig shops and with a little imagination can be really nice.
