Help I.D. this hone.
Came across this hone on a second hand tool store site. Advertised as green hone/oilstone for the princely sum of 16.00 delivered. Photos aren,t great ,but it is a light greenish blue colour ( aquamarine sprang to mind ).Surface glassy to touch and sprinkled with small black speckles . I think it appears to be some kind of slate . Any help would be appreciated in determining what hone this is .Attachment 256745Attachment 256746Attachment 256747Attachment 256748Attachment 256749

Help I.D. this hone.
Looks like an Llyn Idwal stone to me otherwise there is a chance it could be a thuringian Stone

Thanks for your reply . I was heading down the Llyn Idwal route myself. Ran a W&B over the hone then gave my face a quick shave . It was very smooth and comfy whatever it is .
