I asked the same a few weeks ago. Looks like no one jumped on one that I've heard of yet. I was curious also. Looks very good.:beer1:
Yeah, I'm interested for future knowledge. I'm saving right now for a Naniwa 12K. It'll be my 1st finisher and from what I've read the Naniwa SS is a safe bet.
I came across these while checking on Griffith's Naniwa and Atoma prices and it spiked my curiosity. The price is pretty good too.
I've tried one that Alfredo Gil sent me. It's an OK finisher, about like a decent 8k-ish stone, maybe a tad better. It's interesting, they're quarried in Rhode Island on an about 4-acre site and unlike the rest of Rhode Island, this deposit is not glacial. It's heavy, has a lot of iron in it and is mildly attracted to magnets. If you collect hones, it would be a nice addition and isn't absurdly expensive.
But it isn't a thuri or a good jnat.

Welcome, but do understand I've only tried one and I do not know if there is any significant sample-to-sample variation.

Got ya! Figured it vary stone to stone since it's a natural
