Oh My!

I stumbled upon this at FleaBay and just thought I'd post as I've Never Seen This Before.

Oh those are a nice piece of hostory, i've been thinking on buyind one for my surgical german razors from WW2

That is probably not what you may think it is! What it is not, is a German WWII Nazi Swastika. In saying that, that is the first Swastika razor hone I have ever seen.

I'm well aware that the Swastika was used by many way before the NAZI's It would be interesting to know where that hone was made and when.

Look in the library hone section & you will see one that I have placed there years ago.

Did a search cause I remember a couple of discussions about these over the years. Here is one, but no pix

I know you collect barber hones/still have that one? Where was it made and any idea of when?

Sorry but I have a hell of a time maneuvering through the Library. :banghead:

IIRC Cattaragrus might have made one with the reversed swastika, the Indian symbol. I could be wrong though ( y'all know the rest)

I just learned the other day the swastika was used in ancient Chinese alphabet.

Ive seen many in ebay in the last months
