I'm a big dilucot fan too... I've half a mind to fill the holes with CA glue but I doubt I really will. Hopefully this one will prove to be a good finisher.

That is a nice stone. I passed on it because of the holes. I'm into the slurry, but did not think of the ca [emoji53]. I believe I read somewhere that they but holes to get rid of wire edges and burrs. Congrats and I hope it serves you well!

I reckon it's because you need the lord to work out how to get an edge off the bloody things.

Nice stone! The slurry should just wash out of the holes when you rinse the stone off after honing. I wouldn't fill them with glue, that might alter the stone in some not good way.

The thought crossed my mind but I don't think I could ever really bring myself to do it.
