I bought some nagura that were sealed. Just bought a koma that was not. What should I use to seal it? It's smaller than a hen's egg so I don't really want to buy a quart of something :)

I have all the usual varieties of naguras, koma included.
None of mine are sealed.
Why would you want to seal them?
I have never seen any need for sealing such small rocks, and was always afraid of it getting in the way as soon as the stone wore a bit.
In addition, they are quite porous, and so would perhaps draw in a certain amount into the sone itself, and as such be rendered useless when getting worn on the business side of it...
That said, for all my larger stones I have always used shellac.
Seems the traditional way, and therefore it seems the most appropriate as well:)
Thanks. My OCD will not allow one of four to not be like the other three!
It looks very thin on these. Not thick and glossy like I see on the large JNats.
Could always do clear nail polish
I've seen multiple layers of cashew lacquer used more than once... seems to work fine
Thanks. I'm not sure why it would be needed unless it's to preserve the stamps...
