Just use super glue I glued a 3 line swaty together lapped it and it’s spot on. You have one of the best 12 k synthetic hones on the marker if you want an excuse to treat your self get the 20 k g.

Well that really sucks. I sugegst you try the superglue but as insurance (excuse) get another finisher ;)
Worst case scenario you waste some superglue, best case you end up with 2 finishers
If you're close to a FOB with any kind of dental check to see if they have some dental cement for a permanent crown. I checked with some of my dental techs next door to my clinic and they agreed with me that should be a tight, water proof cement that you should be able to lap.
Just throwing out an idea.
I have a Shapton 16K. Works well and not too expensive $128 USD.
if it's in 2 clean pieces use super glue and lap it after...you can glue it to a stand....actualy that stone has a resin binder that is similar to the cianoacrilat in a way
Super glue and a backer would be a great fix and you don't lose your 12k. But if you have to replace t, they aren't too expensive and you don't want to be without one. Even if you get curious about others. It will always give you an excellent shave if you do the work. Tc
I also would recommend using just one half, rather than seeking to glue it back together as before. Might be a good opportunity to try honing hand-held with a small finishing stone if you haven't tried this before. You could even glue them back to back for increased thickness; or, you could send one the halves to me once you return Stateside. ;-)
If you don't want synthetic I think Arkansas stones can be reliable finishers. Could get like a 6x2 translucent from dans
Gorilla glue works well. Wet both surfaces a little. Laps easily.
