Well, she's a beaut, I'll say that much.
There's a vintage Norton sharpening stone that is shaped like a barber hone or it is a barber hone. My understanding is that this particular Norton hone is highly sought after by woodcutters and those who use axes. The last one I saw on Ebay went for over $600 IIRC.

dam what's in those hones!! wish i had a bunch of those laying around.. maybe i should sell my whet rock as a razor hone and buy a better one. the return on those things is better than a dam savings bond.
