I think I have a full set up...Almost.

Slowly, but surely Ive gotta a full honing line up. The latest are a DMT 600, and Shapton 4000. Here they all are:
DMT 600
King 1200
Shapton 4000
DMT8000
Chinese 12000
Shapton 16000

Maybe the now I need a Japanese Natural Finisher...I blame this on you guys!!:)

Looks like quite a setup to me. How's the honing going.

Honing is going alright. Still working on being able to get my bevels just right before going to higher levels. I picked up the Shapton 4000 to fill the gap I had between the King 1200 and the DMT 8000. The diamonds cut fast, but the amount of time on the 8000 was so much. I based the purchase largely on Lynn's statement in another thread that the 4k-6k stage was a mostly for sharpening, and the 8k range was more for polish. We will see how it goes.

As it stands I have a number of razors to polish/restore and hone before they are usable.
