Forgive me if this is redundant but i am looking for a 12k hone and see alot of hones listed on ebay. Swaty, Schumate, Dubl Duck but dont know the grit of them. Can anybody help?

The "wiki" tab here, in the upper left, has some good info on hones. It might help you. I've have read here that Naniwa and barber hones are @ 12K though. Don't take my word for it. Read @ the forum & you will find out.
You have to be a bit careful there, as Sham just noted, there are no actual grits on barbers hones...
Many people will state that they feel like XXX on the razor but that is not an accurate description of the grit of a Barber's hone...
They are designed for a 5-8 lap touch up hone, they are not even the same type of cutter as a fine grit polishing hone like a Naniwa 12k...
I assume that your looking for a 12K for a reason, ok, then the known reliable 12K hones are manmade and are the Shapton Glass and the Naniwa Superstone.
The barber hone companies never published the grit size or type of abrasive. They users had to rely upon what effect the hones had on the razors edge.
One other thing to note is that primary purpose of a barber hone is as a "touch up" hone used to refresh an edge that is beginning to "pull".
