Is it an "Ezy edge" hone question

Hi,
I consider getting a barber hone to be able to compare natural oilstone's grit I find to something known. I have seen a red two sided barber hone which I think could be an Ezy edge. Will there be a particular stamp on the Ezy edge hone?(or any vintage barber hone)

I have a Pike Eazyedge but it is very clearly stamped. Like this...

Can I date it? A barber hone possibly with no stamp.

The makers of barber hones frequently made hones for others who would assign a name to the hone but not have it impressed ( stamped) with any name. The makers used a wide variety of different abrasives so it is impossible to determine the grit size or type of an unlabeled barber hone.

Well, that is how it is with all natural hones as well. Just have to love the trials and the errors. :)
