    i agree with paul i have a small la verte and it looks identical . i would also point out i found this layer very consistant. easily obtain a good edge with dilucot. mine is only 100x30 and it works brill.

    If you order from Ardennes website and mention that it will be used for razors Im pretty sure they pick a good one for you
    You can also ask for spesific layers They may not have the one you ask for in stock so maybe giving them a priorety list would be in order

    Looks to me like there is one layer that can only be used for finishing

    I have been in touch with Maurice at Ardennes before. They seem to be quite busy there at times and sometimes I get a quick response and others no response.
