    Sham - Looks like it might be some kind of dual-grit ceramic hone?

    Livio - The problem with a hone like that is that there is no indication of the fineness of the grit. It could be a dual-grit ceramic razor hone, or it could be a very coarse, dual grit knife hone. If it's the latter, it could easily destroy the finished edge of a razor.

    Do you have anything else that came with it that describes the grit rating?

    Thank you for your fast response, and sorry , I been away for couple of days.I end up buying a Franz Swaty line 3 double grit stone. I understand from reading ST8 wiki is one of the best finisher, with very resonaable money. Thank you again Gents, this site is amazing, so many nice people willing to share their experience and have fun.
