Probably closer to 400/800 if its like this

Unless you have other tools to sharpen i guess thats it
barber hone is only for maintaining an already sharp edge

Or i may suggest the sharpening setup that works best for me
Well i recently got a 125x30mm coticule
As i already have naniwa 1-3-8-12k i found an easy way to use it
I use the 1k to set the bevel(wich you do not need on a slightly dulling razor)
Then i skipped to the taped stage of unicut(step 5)

this has given me the best results i have got so far
Oh yes i use a small stone and i find that easyer then big bench stones:)
I would not get a shorter stone but i have used narrower just fine
