this is one nice looking stone, let us know how you like the edges off it.
I'm green with envy ! :tu Nice rock, enjoy it.
I have a similar stone. It is a bit slower than other coticules I have used and the final edge seems shaper too(not necessarily smoother though)
i have one very small size . it is in fact slow a lot slower then most coticule i have tested.your stone is large size. Enjoy
i have a thick beard so i like a sharp edge i really dont like to classify stones and what they can do by color but with coti it seems to work well green or grey slow pink or redish fast lite yellow is mello now with arks you cant classify by color way different animal imho
Looks like a La Verte. Nice stone! Hmm.....I'm missing a green coti from my collection....
well while i'm at it i took two pics of the rest of my coti family

this stone is pretty slow but really fine. hope you could see on pictures that its green
I noticed, that among coti stones green ones are hardest. What do you think?
Here is some more eye candy for you coticule lovers ..... looking at the second photo, the far left looks pinkish in the photos but it is egg shell white and a great fast fine natural. The next is a slate backed La Veinette from Ardennes with a creamy off white color. Third in line is a green natural that came to me from South Africa by way of Belgium. The internet makes for a small world. This stone is hard and slow with water only but sharpens well with slurry and finishesAttachment 67876Attachment 67877 to a fine edge on water only. A huge natural with a yellowish hue and it is medium fast and fine. Finally the big daddy is pink/yellow natural and as one would expect it is fast but still leaves a fine edge. Enjoy.
Very beautiful stones. Recently I've lockated a very rear (from my point of view) coti - red-brownish color. It is in box and rather big, at least 100 years old, may be more. But the seller put such a price, that we bargain for last ten days. Money is one thing, I can imagine my disappointment if the stone is not good.
Yes, sure. I did not notice bout stones in your collection. You don't like? Just 3-4 days back I bought a bout combo stone from Jarrod from "The Superior shave". Looks attractive. It will be my first combo.
My congratulations. I know how it's difficult to stop buying razors and stones. I try to spend less time with these toys, but without serious success.
Well, Since Jimmy posted some pics, Here's a few of mine, these are just a sample. Notice the 2nd from the right, it's pure pink, and a combo, It has a Les Lat back... I bet Jimmy recognize's it...The last picture, far right stone is a Dressante, my favorite, the workhorse, it has very nice coloration to it, and cuts great. I use it with the 8x3 in the far left, That's a La Nouvelle. It's a finisher.
You have a wonderful collection of coti. And the pink one is really something. Today I kept in my hands almost brown stone, but could not buy it. Who knows, may be after a couple of weeks the seller will be more reasonable.
wow zib that pure pink and striped pink cotis are beautiful
