Carborundum 108
does anyone know anything about this stone? i believe it is a combination stone. can anyone provide info on the grit of each side? or if it is even for razors haha.

Thanked: 3795All of my carborundums are buried away in boxes right now, but I'm pretty sure that the 108 is not a razor hone. Carborundum made clear distinctions with their wide variety of hones and all of their razor hones' boxes were labeled as "razor hone," rather than the usual "sharpening hone." If I remember it correctly, the 108 was just a basic silicon carbide hone.
