I have genuine examples of both box and label (a later design, reminiscent of the Hohenzollern castle logo). Someone forging a label would choose one of the more common designs. What I do not believe however, is that box and stone originally belonged together. These boxes invariably fit their hones snugly (or only with some room to spare in length, to accomodate a rubber) and I know of no other example of this box with a labelled hone.
