Hone ID please.
Hey guys, was coming home from work today and found a little antique shop on the way.
This hone was burried with a bunch of tools and dished very badly.
I attempted to lap it, but it was extremely hard so I took it to my belt sander 10 mins at 120 grit, then to the dmt.
It measures 7 3/8 x 2 1/4 x 15/16
The majority of the stone is pink, with some green patches and dots, and some funny white lines running through it.
I would call the slurry white grey ish.
Maybe worth mentioning when a razor touches it, it sounds different like putting steel to glass?
Ill be trying it out tonight on a razor I finished on a coti lastnight.
Thanks!

Well, I can't identify stones by looking at pics anyhow. But I do like to guess. So I guess it's an Arkansas! I can't remember which which one is the pink, green, and spotted one. But do know they can come that way. They are also ridiculously hard, and belt sanding has been a recommended way to lap them. So that's all I have. Now I'll let the experts continue. :)
Ok now that I've seen the pics...nvm..I have no business in this thread.
