"Genuine Belgian Razor Hone"
Cut from the natural rock.
Says so right on the label. :p

Surprisingly it was flat when I got it. Looked pretty nasty so I cleaned it a bit.

At some point in time the adhesive holding the purplish bottom has let go. Then somebody decided to glue the bottom piece to the box and then remove it later. Part of the stone's face is still glued to the box.

It's rough but it can be trued up I'd think.
I made a slurry with it, when it dried it looked like dry cement. Cleaned her off and made another batch and took an old Challenge that has been giving me fits to it for a bit. Cured what ailed it. The edge finish isn't shiny but rather matte looking. Blows hair off my arm now. I'll strop it in a bit and see if it's a razor again.
Also ended up with a rather large BLACK BEAUTY and a VELVET EDGE barber's hones. :)

As I'm functionally illiterate in Belgian hones, can anybody tell me what I've got?
Thanks,
Willie
