Anyone recognize these hones?

Hey folks,

Just picked up what looks like two hones from a local garage sale. Does anyone recognize what they might be? The first is a milky, almost translucent material, with the second being rather coarse with perhaps slate on the back?

The top one looks mighty like my translucent Arkansas :)

first stone looks like a translucent or a hard ark second stone looks man made glued to a piece of slate.

I agree that the first is probably an Arkansas. The second, whatever it is, looks way too coarse for razors. Garden tools, yes. Razors, no.
