Just did a first Theme Video for my "Razorlovestones" project which will be a Series of around 4-6 Videos about different Stones which have their origin in different countries....the Series in future will handle further more German Stones, English stones (which will include England as a whole country), US Stones...probably i will add Barber Hones and stones of other origins....the Series will and can only include stones i own ;-)
As we talk about the French Hones here i thought this video fits best in here, probably i will start a Razorlovestones Thread when further more Videos are finished....
The Videos are just showing the stones with some on the pictures i already shot, giving short informations on the stones, their Name, a estimated grit which is just a reference and probably a information about the Producers/Supplier...
Have fun watching!

Doorch, very nice video and photography.
What a collection of stones, I am jealous.
I have a few unbranded Vosegine and they are super finishers.
Thanks for sharing, nice work.
Awesome video!
It doesn't take much to impress me here as I have never made a YouTube video but that was clearly very well made.
The hones. Oh wow, the hones!
I don't own a single french hone. Might have something to do with the french girl I "dated" for a while but it also might have something to do with never having found an opportunity to buy one.
Thanks for the great video.
WOW!!!! Beautifully done my friend! What a collection...
Like Utopian the La Lune is on my 'must acquire list'. I've had the opportunity recently to spend a few weeks using a La Lune (Thanks 'Royal Cake') and it is one of the nicest finishers I've ever touched a razor to. Did a side by side comparison with my blue-green 'Barber's Gem' Escher and was more than impressed to say the least.
I too am envious! :tu
great video !!!!! thank you to a video on the stones my beautiful country
Are you trying to reinfect me with HAD ??? Nice vid, text flashes off too fast, but it occurred to me to pause the vid when I want to read the text. Look forward to the separate thread.
Thanks for the video :)
There were stones I didn't even (french myself) know..
Here is another undocumented stone, from the south-west (as far as we know) of France :

We talked about it with Antoine46 and some other members of our forum. Bart and some other specialists of the coticules said they were not.
The grit is around 7000, it's a fine stone, I use it after my BBW.
And here is a Lorraine I'll may trade with some other stones for two japanese :

I would have said grit around 5-6000 for this stone, so I agree with your appreciation.
Thanks Thaeris for your contribution there is another guy on B&B who own several of these stones and he claims these are no coticules....i never owned one of these so if youre interested how these ones look please check here:
