New Chosera 1k...Slurry Stone Question
Hello All,
So i just received my Chosera 1k from SRD (Thx Lynn!) and I notice that it came with a pretty large slurry stone. I was just wondering if anyone might know the grit rating of this slurry stone (is it 1k as well?)..
The reason I ask, is because I had an idea to use the slurry stone as it's own stone. In other words, I would hold it in my hand much like I would a coticule bout, and use it maybe for warped blades & the like. Has anyone ever attempted this and if so, how did it work?
Thanks guys!!

New Chosera 1k...Slurry Stone Question
The dressing stone is 600 grit.
Not actually a slurry stone, according to the producer it is meant to clean and dress the surface of the 1K stone when needed.
Edit:
I would not recommend honing on it, it is very chippy and could release chunks of it very easy, possibly ruining your edge somewhat

Earlier today I was looking around for info on this. Seems like most use it to refresh the surface or not at all.
I've tried making a slurry with it once or twice.
