Every stone is different even if they are called the same. A jnat is IMO the most capable stone for the keenest edge for a razor. Dulling on glass with a shave ready razor is easy to put back into shaving sharp as there's not as much metal to move as setting a bevel from scratch. Its a learning curve though so if you do get in, be prepared for some frustration. Its all worth it in the end IMO. You would need a set of nagura stones and a tomo and a bevel setter unless you have a lot of free time to set one on a jnat.
