Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has ever tried these diamond hones before.

For sharpening chisels, scissors, shears, scrapers, knives etc. Comprises coarse, medium and fine stones. Stone size: 152 x 50 x 4.2mm. Supplied in plastic wallet.
They're a regular item and usually go for under $10.00AUD shipped.
I'd think they'd be too coarse for sharpening but may be okay for removing nicks and chips.
Any thoughts?
The finest one would be ok for sharpening knives and maybe lapping regular hones.

Those diamond stones look identical to the ones I use on my knives. The blue stone in my set is 180 grit, the yellow is 260 grit and the red is 360 grit. I will let the experienced honers answer if these will work well for you. I know they work great on knives. They are very aggresive cutting. Initially they they a very coarse edge. With break in they leave a finer edge. Hope this helps.

All diamond stones I have used in wood working are smoother after some use, but the scale for grit tops out at around 320 which is fine for knives, chisels, scribes, etc.
Just think, for a second, at the price....
A Norton is how much? DMT stones are how much? and these are $7.95 US- shipped...
I can;t see how they could be any finer grit, the cost process to make high grit diamond is new and expensive. DMT is in my home town- been hoping for a tour and some samples...:w
I got those at lidl (a european supermarket) for £2, and they were just, just worth that much. They curl up as they are attached to a plastic backing of insufficient strength. I have got some use out of them as diamond files, but i don't think i would buy them again.
I have had some of those and they are far to coarse for any razor work. Plus if you immerse them in water then they come unglued!:rant:
