Great video! I like your accent!
Thanks...I tend to get more of a Dutch accent when I get tired....and I was very tierd that day.
If a picture speaks a thousand words video speaks a billion.
Thank you
Well done, Alexander. I appreciated watching this very much.
NICE JOB!!! - What a GREAT video - it was really interesting and informative to watch your honing technique - I wil definitely be watching this one again.
Thanks for taking the time to put that together, Alex.

-Lou (another lefty....but you probably already figured that out!)
That was great, thanks for posting it. I found it very useful.
Your English is superb, I didn't really notice an accent, I work with many Europeans (Austrian, German, Dutch, Danish) who have a much more pronounced accent than you.
Thanks again,
Ivan
Hey Lou,
I'm glad you got to see this video before your One More Day To Go is over :D
Thanks for the great video, I like the continous commenting about what you are doing.
Alex,
what's the slurry stone you use? Is it a real Nagura?
Uhm....to be honest I don't even know what kind of stone the slurry stone is. It not a natural stone. It's a combination stone that I bought when I was somewhere around 12-13 to sharpen my pocketknives. If I let it soak it becomes very soft and Isometimes use it to establish a bevel (I need a better rought stone, I know) as long as I don't let it soak though the fine side of it is pretty good for razors and excellent for lapping&creating slurry.
I used to use 800 grit waterproof sandpaper for it but got sick of having to throw the stuff away after usage. This is much more efficient and just as effective.
