Spent about 30-40 minutes trying to set the bevel on my wosty IXL. Was moving on to the 5k and smacked the blade right into the faucet. I think I've done enough damage for one night.

Bugger! That will hone out of course but yeah, best to tackle it again fresh. Nevermind mate, these things happen and I'd be prepared to bet that from now on you'll be very careful around your taps! :)
James.
Bugger jinx Carl! :D

Darn. I hate when things like that happen. It happens to everyone though.
Sorry for your setback...
And this is why I admit that I suffer from Razordinkaphobia...
It will look better in the morning...promise.
Well that sucks. Cant say i havent done the same a few times.
Thanks for commiserating guys. Hopefully I will have time to work on it today.
Sorry to see mate,
but best to just make lemonade and take it as a lesson learnt and now you get some more bevel setting practice.
Maybe go back to a higher angle to remove the chip a bit quicker then start again on the bevel setting
I keep my razors far from faucets....seen sooooooooooo many posts showing faucet on razor crime.
