Hi Guys!
i bought this stone, it was in very bad shape, i lapped it with 50 grit and then 340 grit 800 and 1000, what you think it is enough or i must go upp, and can you guys say what is it for stone? the last one is with slurry, appreciated.

Looks like a fine Charnley Forrest. If it’s smooth and flat you are good to go.
It will give a crisp edge when used with, 2-3 drops of Smith’s honing solution on a wet stone.
Edge can be similar to a Hard Ark, slow to work up, used after a fine 8K edge. Do lots of laps on a finished razor with Smith’s and light slurry, thinning to clear water and Smith’s oil.

I agree that it would appear to be a Charnwood. But I wonder if the slurry use here is not a modern invention. Why not dedicate the stone to honing oil and leave it at that?
I would have to argue against the point of slurry being a modern invention. Of course that depends on your perspective of modern. :<0)
It's also interesting and helpful to know what all you can get out of a hone. Especially if your collection of hones is rather limited.
