Wouldn't be surprised if that hone pre-dates WWII and the 3rd Reich. Prior to them the swastika symbol was used to signify brotherhood, by a number of different groups and religions, including native Americans, Buddhists (I think...) and I've heard, even the boy scouts. The stain on that symbol was not until later, unfortunately.
Nuff said about that. I'm too much of a history nut I guess.

These have been up on the 'bay before, and have been talked about here on the boards, too. One of them, as I recall, included its original sales receipt which had a date well-before any Nazi connotations could have been an option. I considered emailing the current seller with that info, but she seems so excited about the rarity of her hone I'd feel cruel breaking her heart.
