Belgian coticle question

On Lynn's dvd he shows the Belgian coticle 12k for final honing. I visited theperfectedge.com and the have the stone but only an 8k. Can anybody help?

There are different opinions on the actual grit size, and even then as a natural stone they wont be consistently the same size. The point is that it is a slower cutter, and works better for a final polish.

Lynn uses the yellow coticules from that site. Although they are listed as 8K, many people including Lynn feel that they cut more like a 12K stone. It is the same stone though.
