You could either just shave with it or if you feel confident in your stropping technique you could strop and then shave. As far as how many round trips on linen and then leather, everyone on has their own idea on that. Personally I do 10 linen then 60-80 leather.
This is a good thread on cleaning linen strops http://straightrazorpalace.com/strop...ditioning.html .

A quick query is did you only start with straights in January because if so why is your linen turning grey already. There must be a contamination issue from dirty blades
ys i believe its a combination of cheap rough c.h. ina linen and steel and my love for cr-ox .Attachment 193209 Attachment 193210
To avoid contaminating the linen I would clean all the Crox off before going to the linen. Also go lightly with your strokes on the linen and don't do a lot of strokes.

Linen strops will always get dirty. Maybe the CrO maybe oil on the blade or maybe dust and dirt.
I always strop on leather even after honing no matter the final media used. I would't strop on linen though after honing.
60 passes on leather is my standard. If using linen I'll do 15 or so passes.
